Your Pet’s Favorite Treats
This is the secret sauce to great photos! Treats help with focus, reward good behavior, and keep your pet motivated. Choose small, soft treats that your pet loves and can eat quickly between shots.
Pro Tip:
If your pet has food allergies or special dietary needs, bring treats you know are safe.
A Favorite Toy or Two
Toys can bring out your pet’s playful side and help us capture natural, joyful expressions. They’re also great for grabbing attention during the session especially if your pet is a little shy or distracted.
Wipes or a Towel
Accidents happen, paws get muddy, noses get wet—it’s all part of the fun. Having wipes or a small towel on hand helps us keep your pet clean and photo-ready at all times.
Outfits or Accessories (Optional)
If your pet has a cute outfit, bandana, or bow tie you love, feel free to bring it along! Just make sure your pet is comfortable wearing it, and consider a few options in case one works better on camera than another.
Leash & Collar
Even if your pet is usually off-leash, it’s always good to bring one for safety and control—especially during outdoor sessions. A stylish collar or leash can even add to the look!
Note: For portraits, I can often edit out leashes in post-processing when needed.
A Brush or Comb
If you’ve got a long-haired pet or a dog that tends to get messy, a quick touch-up with a brush can make a big difference. Bring one along just in case the wind or playtime adds a little extra fluff.
Your Patience and Positivity
Finally, bring your good vibes! Pets feed off our energy. Staying relaxed and upbeat helps your pet feel secure and happy during the session—and trust me, the best moments often happen when we’re just having fun.
The goal is to create a stress-free, joyful experience for both you and your pet. With the right tools in your bag (and maybe a little drool on your shirt), we’ll capture moments you’ll cherish forever.
